Tank Bund gets a new look

The city of Nizam is an adobe full of charming spots that captivate the minds of all who visit. 

It is a hidden gem with a rich history and an alluring mix of old and new cultures. Tank Bund is one of many interesting places to visit in Hyderabad. The tank bund is a bridge flanked by one side of Hussain Sagar Lake, one of the most spectacular tourist attractions, with a statue of one of the largest monoliths of Gautam Buddha in the middle. 

Tank Bund is no longer the same; the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority redesigned it spending an amount of 38 crores. The new design features lamp posts, designed cast iron railing, grills, and elegantly designed gazebos in a retro style. Visitors strolling along the road might well discover plenty of places to sit, thanks to new seating arrangements built with carving stone on both sides of the road, offering a splendid view of the lake. 

Aside from an increase in the number of seating options, enhanced lush can be found on either side of the bund with animal replicas and aesthetic lighting statues. With a rise in crime rates, CCTV cameras are a smart way, installed at strategic locations for the safety of the crowd that visits the place in the evening. 

A developed outdoor gym, clean restrooms, a pedestrian bridge, and street furniture are among the amenities that now exist. The problem of waterlogging during monsoon downpours has also been tackled by improving the drainage system. With an upgraded aesthetics Tank Bund draws a large number of visitors who are enthralled by the gazebo and new lamp posts. 

As the number of visitors grows, so does the number of sales by street vendors. The advancement fairly soon after lockdown has allured a significant proportion of individuals due to the appealing late evening view.
