Community halls converted into ward offices in twin cities by GHMC

To amplify administrative efficiency and connect government with people, the GHMC undertook the conversion of over 60% of community halls within Hyderabad and Secunderabad municipal limits into ward offices.

A budget of Rs 5.15 lakh has been approved for the same. This project envisions the provision of prompt solutions to people's problems.

The GHMC has identified vacant community halls to serve as ward offices. The conversion has already begun in areas like Chandrayangutta, Edi Bazar, Nacharam, Nampally, Azampura, and more.

The GHMC states there have been no problems from elected representatives regarding the selection of community halls for conversion. The essential steps like budget approval and release have been taken to support the transformation process. The GHMC wants to establish 150 ward offices within its jurisdiction.

This strategic move aims to streamline administrative processes and enhance public service delivery, ultimately benefiting the residents of Hyderabad and its surrounding areas.
