IIT Hyderabad announced that it would host the second edition of 'IInvenTiv,' the nation's most significant Research and Development (R&D) innovation fair, on January 19 and 20, 2024, as per a press release. 

IInvenTiv 2024 marks the follow-up to the inaugural event, a flagship program of the Ministry of Education, held at IIT Delhi in 2023. This forthcoming event aims to convene 23 IITs and prominent educational institutions like NITs, IISERs, IISc Bangalore, and the top 50 NIRF-ranked engineering colleges. The focus areas include affordable healthcare, agriculture & food processing, defense & space, Industry 4.0, and sustainable technologies. 

The event anticipates the participation of approximately 2,000 companies dedicated to transforming innovative concepts into practical applications, stated IIT-H in a press release.
