In association with the Telangana Real Estate Developers Association (TREDA), the Telangana Builders Federation (TBF) and the Telangana Developers Association (TDA), Credai Hyderabad organised the Real Estate Summit 2020 at the JRC Convention Centre.

Real Estate Summit 2020

With Minister KTR as a chief guest, other leaders and developers attended the summit. The Real Estate Summit 2020 was a platform for recognising the real estate sector's changing trends & policies. A session on Alternative Asset Class includes Warehouse, Data Centers, Retail, Co-Living and Co-Working, Retirement Homes, was held by CBRE, highlighting the emergence and potential demand of these asset classes.

Knight Frank shared insights on the trends in the city's residential market and JLL held a session on Hyderabad's Capital Market & Office Space-Six Years Growth, Influencing Factors and the Future Outlook.

Telangana Government with a series of reforms streamlined the approval and operational processes, facilitating the ease of doing business for the real estate industry. The introduction of a single-window approval process for the real estate sector, TS-bPASS, along with the new Revenue Act, Municipal Act and Township Act, for the first time in the city, would stimulate growth and attract significant industry investment.

In addition, the government's focused approach to infrastructure growth through the development of the Metro Network, SDRP (Strategic Road Development Plan)-reducing traffic congestion, GRID policy to spread development, through industrial zones spread across the state with better connectivity to Hyderabad, and providing the city with uninterrupted power supply, are major attractions

As a location for wider establishments and a vibrant and rapidly increasing local entrepreneurship ecosystem which drives development and job creation in the state, Telangana has achieved global prominence. In 2015-16, the government started the process of upgrading, checking and digitising land records. With the implementation of TS-bPASS, a single-window approval system, we are hopeful that in the coming years, the state will see substantial real estate growth, keeping the USP low.

With the growth initiatives and policies of the Telangana government, the real estate sector is continuously growing and they have developed Telangana as an investment destination. The government has also done a great deal to promote Brand Hyderabad' and make it the most successful investment destination. With quick documentation and approval systems coming into the picture, we hope that the real estate industry in Telangana will continue to expand and become the best residential, commercial & co-worker.

It is expected that the real estate sector in Telangana will continue to expand and become the best market for buyers across all segments in residential, commercial & co-working spaces.
