Five Hyderabad-based business leaders have made it to the GroheHurun India Real Estate Rich List 2020.

The list includes 100 people from 71 companies across 15 cities. Among the Union Territories and States, Maharashtra ranked 37, followed by Karnataka and Delhi, with 22 and 20 people respectively.

In city terms, Mumbai leads the ranks with 31 people, followed by 22 and 20 from New Delhi and Bangalore respectively. In terms of the number of entrepreneurs, Hyderabad is the fourth largest.

Real Estate Rich List of Hyderabad

• RameshwarRaoJupally and his family (My Home Constructions) ranked 11th in India with an Rs 5,450 crore wealth.
• C Venkateswara Reddy and S Subramanyam Reddy of Aparna Constructions & Estates occupied the second and third spots in the city with wealth of Rs 5,230 crore and Rs 5,180 crore, occupying the 12th and 13th spotsrespectively.
• G V Rao and family of SAS Infra stood fourth in Hyderabad and 49th nation-wide with a cumulativewealth of Rs 1,010 crore.
• GVK Reddy and family of Taj GVK stood fifth in Hyderabad and 72nd nation-wide, with a wealth of Rs 460 crore.

Wealth Developer

Mangal Prabhat Lodha & family is the fourth richest person in a row with a wealth of
Rs 44,270 crore. In the current year, his wealth grew by 39%. During the pandemic-hit year 2020, Lodha Group had the highest turnover in India among all the real estate developers.

Rajiv Singh of DLF ranked second in the list, with a wealth of Rs 36,430 crore, and recorded an increase in wealth of 45%, backed by an increase in DLF stocks of 50%. ChandruRaheja and the K Raheja family occupied the third position with a 70 percent increase in wealth and wealth of Rs 26,260.

The Chandak Group's AdityaChandak (36) came last on the list. Out of the non-construction conglomerates, Piramal Realty, Godrej Properties, Kalpataru, IndiaBullsImmobilien, Bharti Realty, Mahindra Lifespace Developer and ShapoorjiPallonji also featured on the list.
