HAML to boost-start Airport Metro works

The HAML undertook several activities to begin the Airport Metro Rail quickly. Two survey teams have been deployed to obtain ground data for alignment finalization.

Commencing the survey and the orientations to the teams, HAML managing director NVS Reddy inspected the Airport Metro route from Raidurg station to Narsingi junction with senior officers.

Reddy said, "the station designs and facilities shall cater to the present and future needs of commuters from different directions of the junctions in this high growth and high-rise building areas, with multi-armed skywalks landing in all directions. Ample parking facilities shall be created on the available government lands nearer to the stations."

The present corridor three from Raidurg to the new Airport Metro Raidurg station is being augmented by approximately 900 meters.

These two further stations can be one over the other, considering the space limitations in front of the L&T building and the Aurobindo building after IKEA.
