The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HDMA) had recently made an announcement that it would hold a lottery. 

This lottery would be for all the leftover flats of the Rajiv Swagruha Corporation in the areas of Bandlaguda and Pocharam.  

There were more than 1,000 flats, including 3-BHK, 2-BHK and 1-BHK, which were unsold in the previous bids. 

Officials had stated that only those who can pay the token advance of Rs. 3 lakhs, Rs. 2 lakhs and Rs.1 lakh for these 3-BHK, 2-BHK and 1-BHK flats would be eligible to participate in the lottery. 

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HDMA) had also conducted a pre-bid meeting. 

In this pre-bid meeting conducted, they had auctioned 50 plots of 300 sq yards each in the area of Medipally. 

The Officials have also claimed that there was an overwhelming response by the public to this auction of land being held.
