Hyd Forestrek Park was opened with a strong emphasis on environmental

The initiative's primary objective is to bolster endeavours aimed at conserving the environment and facilitating ecological restoration throughout the State. In line with the State government's 'Telangana ku Haritha Haram' initiative, Ministers Indrakaran Reddy, Sabitha Indra Reddy, and Patnam Mahender Reddy planted saplings during the inauguration of Forestrek Park in Manchirevula village, located in the Rajendra Nagar Mandal of Ranga Reddy district on a Saturday. 

This initiative seeks to enhance efforts dedicated to environmental preservation and ecological rejuvenation statewide. In addition to the ministers, prominent figures such as Rajya Sabha member J Santosh Kumar, Chevella MP Ranjith Reddy, MLC Vani Devi, and Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari participated in the sapling planting ceremony. Subsequently, they embarked on a safari vehicle tour around the park. 

Out of 109 urban forest parks, 73 have been made accessible to the public, with Forestrek in Manchirevula village being the 74th park. The development of Forestrek, located within the Chilkur forest block in Rangareddy, spans 256 acres and has been executed at an estimated cost of Rs 7.38 crore by the Telangana State Forest Development Corporation Limited.
