Hyderabad Had A Major Facelift As A Result Of SRDP Initiatives

Hyderabad, in the past few years has experienced a vital transition regarding infrastructure with flyovers, underpasses, roads under Bridges, and roads over Bridges constructed as components of the State government’s Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP).

KT Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister tweeted a schedule of undertakings and stated, “Govt. of Telangana has taken up the prestigious Strategic Road Development Plan as an ongoing effort to improve the infrastructure in Hyderabad. Take a look at the projects completed under this prestigious initiative.’

Road infrastructure developments have aided in restraining the matter of traffic movement, avoiding jams, and also decreasing commuting time extensively. The 23 SRDP projects costing Rs 2,028 crores made the makeover feasible.

The first project finished under the Strategic Road Development Plan was the Ayyappa Society Underpass, initiated in January 2018, and assisted in curtailing traffic obstructions on Shilparamam Road. Mindspace Underpass, which was another project inaugurated the same year, has served vehicles moving towards Gachibowli and other areas from Cyber Towers, Hitec City.

Furthermore, the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Stay Bridge, and the connecting flyover at Road Number 45, Jubilee Hills, have radically lessened the traveling time to reach Jubilee Hills from Madhapur.
