KTR Hands Over the Keys to the Beneficiaries of Houses in Vanasthalipuram

Telangana state government has launched the initiative of the slum-free state. Under this, Municipal administration minister KT Rao mentioned that no other state within the country has distressed on the housing programme as Telangana has done.

No alternative state since Independence has shown concerns about the slum-free initiative in Hyderabad. The govt has concerned the construction of 2BHK homes at a value of Rs 9,714 lakh in Vanasthalipuram. He formally handed over the keys to the beneficiaries on a Wednesday. 

“The state spent around Rs 9 lakh on every flat. The market value of every flat range from Rs. 40 to 50 lakhs,” KTR said.

Earlier, the minister wasn't a part of the inauguration of a project engineered under Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP) in Malkajgiri Parliament seat.

At Wednesday’s event, TRS corporators who lost against BJP candidates in GHMC poll shared the stump with KTR.
