The housing prices across the top 8 cities of India have been estimated to increase in the next few years.
A report by CREDAI – Colliers - Liases Foras, the Housing Price- Tracker stated that since the beginning of 2022, new housing launches and prices have been rising.
Rates increased by 14% in Delhi, 12% in Kolkata, and 11% in Ahmedabad. There is an increased demand that has been observed since the past year, despite the issue of rising interest rates.
Delhi-NCR continues to witness the highest housing prices since September this year at 14% YoY.
MMR, with the rise in new launches, has witnessed an increase in housing prices for the fifth quarter in a row.
Bengaluru witnessed a steep decline of 14% YoY. Housing prices in Chennai continue to remain regulated, and the prices in Hyderabad seem to have increased by 8% YoY
