With a target on the 2023 assembly elections, the TRS government will implement its poll promise of expanding 3 lakh rupee financial assistance to 3000 beneficiaries of 119 assembly constituencies respectively, or the construction of 43,000 2BHK houses to people who own small land as welfare for them, set by certain guidelines for efficient implementation.  

In addition, the TRS government has promised Aasara pensions of people aged between 57 and 65 years to be extended and the distribution of new ration cards.  

All these promises have caused the MLAs to be under tremendous pressure to increase the number of beneficiaries.  

The TRS government finds it challenging to identify suitable lands in towns and cities to construct 2-BHKs, while several people, who own even 40 square yards of patta land, are demanding that 3 lakh financial assistance be given to them.
