Three more historic sites are to be restored by the government

After successfully restoring the Qutb Shahi tombs with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC), the Telangana government has signed an MoU with the AKTC to restore Saidanima's tomb, Badhshahi Ashurkhana and Shaikpet Sarai.

Out of the three monuments mentioned, two are currently closed to the public.

The Badshahi Ashurkhana is a protected heritage site and is the second oldest monument of Hyderabad.

The tomb of Saidanima was built by Sardar Abdul Haq, who also bore the title Diler Jang.

The Sarai is the resthouse in Hyderabad. Built by the sixth Golconda king Abdullah Qutb Shah in the 17th century for traders visiting Hyderabad worldwide.

Telangana's principal secretary, Arvind Kumar announced the MoU signing on Twitter and stated that work would be commencing soon.
