Hyderabad traffic police had published an advisory for the current construction work at the Amberpet flyover on national highway 163.
A recent release on Sunday said that the road from the Gandhi statue to the Amberpet T Junction would be shut for 40 days for the construction work in progress.
Citizens were advised to take alternative roads to avoid inconvenience or nuisance.

Habsiguda Road - Tarnaka - Osmania Distance Education Road - Adikmet Flyover - Vidyanagar - Barkatpura - Nimboliadda and Chaderghat is the road to be taken by heavy vehicles travelling from Uppal.
General traffic, including the local city RTC buses travelling from Uppal towards six number junctions, are to take a diverted route.
The diverted route is Gandhi Statue - Prem Sadan Police boys hostel - Saldana Gate - Right turn towards 6 No. Junction - Golnaka - Nimboliadda and Chaderghat.
