Hyderabad's second cable bridge at Mir Alam Tank

Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) recently announced a plan to establish Hyderabad's second cable bridge, 2.5 km long, at the Mir Alam Tank in the old city.

The Municipal Administration department made multiple declarations in this context.

It is said that with the construction of this second cable bridge in the city, Hyderabad's tourism activities will face a sharp increase and will provide many services to people in neighbouring areas and pedestrians.

The department had shared the commencement of this construction work of the cable bridge, which would cost Rs. 220 crores.

Since recently, there has been no progress in this project, and it is stated that unless the budget for this construction work is released, the development work taking place is impossible.

The HMDA has submitted a comprehensive report for constructing this cable bridge at Mir Alam Tank.

Specialists have handed it over, and the authority has announced the approval of this project.

However, the project's inauguration ceremony has not been held so far.
