Telangana airport under progress to enhance convenience in traffic

Aramghar Chowrasta is working towards picking up pace at the Airport

Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar directed the undertaking of numerous road widening works between the Aramghar Chowrasta – and the Shamshabad Airport entrance.

The operation would work towards expanding six line roads, two service roads, and many other road expansion works, covering 10 km, for Rs. 283 crores.

Apart from this, a flyover at Gagan Pahad and several elevated corridors are under construction in the Shamshabad area.

The reason behind this undertaking is the crossroad formed by the Agricultural University, Sathamrai, at the entrance of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

The Chief Secretary guided the officials to ensure that the road expansion works operated smoothly without inconveniencing the people.

The Chief also recommended the officials utilise the services of the police department when it came to traffic management for smooth operation.

He mentioned that surprise visits would also be conducted regularly to assess the work.
