Telangana government to develop 104 link roads for Urban Local Bodies

The State government has suggested developing 104 link roads at  Rs. 2,410 crores under the Missing Links Projects.  

Urban Local Bodies such as Shamshabad, Manikonda, Jawaharnagar, Badangpet, etc., are to be set up with new roadways.  

The Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited (HRDCL) mentioned in a press release that this project would enhance the growth and stability of business groups.  

The GHMC plans on developing 72 roads neighbouring 10 ULBs, measuring 95.47 km at Rs. 1,160 crores. 

In addition, 32 roads measuring 103.45 km will be laid out with an approximate cost of Rs. 1,250 crores. 

The Urban Development minister, KT Rama Rao, pinpointed 35 link roads totalling 126.20 kilometres. 

Initially, 37 link roads at Rs. 572.17 crores were taken up, out of which 21 have been accomplished at the cost of Rs 273.61 crore.
