Uttam Kumar Reddy: Congress to Propel IT and Industries to New Heights

At the Hyderabad Business Seminar, irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Capt N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, themed "Promotion of trade between US and Telangana," asserted the Congress government's commitment to uplifting industries and information technology in Telangana. He highlighted the previous Congress Government's legacy between 2004 and 2014, emphasizing its role in developing Hyderabad's global infrastructure, including projects like the RGIA and the Outer Ring Road. 

Reddy stressed the importance of fostering higher education to build a talented workforce, expressing confidence in the new Congress Government's ability to drive unprecedented growth in Hyderabad and Telangana. He outlined plans to set ambitious goals for industry advancement, innovation, and IT, extending development to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities while focusing on equitable growth across the state. 

He positioned Hyderabad as an attractive global investment hub, citing its favourable environment and skilled workforce. Reddy assured that despite the global presence, ample opportunities exist for new investors in Telangana, vowing to support existing companies expanding to smaller cities and inviting global corporations to explore the region's potential. 

With confidence in the Congress Government's initiatives, Reddy anticipated increased investments, infrastructure development, and extensive job creation. The seminar included addresses by the US Embassy's Consul General, CII Telangana Chairman, and ATA President, showcasing joint efforts to foster regional economic growth.
