Cycling All the Way Through Tracks in Karimnagar

Karimnagar Municipal Corporation Mayor Sunil Rao announced that two new cycling tracks would be developed besides walking tracks. 

He further said that the estimated spending on this project is supposed to be INR 1 crore and administration is committed to set up walking tracks in all grounds across the town. 

In addition to these walking tracks, two cycling tracks will also be set-up — one in Satyavahana university and another in SRR college. This was announced while laying the foundation stone for the children's park and walking track on 7th division on Tuesday. 

He emphasized the need for understanding the responsibility of the corporation to safeguard public health. He aims to establish Karimnagar as a pollution-free city and this aim will be further strengthened by developing walking and cycling tracks and open gyms in the town.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has also allotted required funds of INR 2.50 crores to the corporation every month for executing this plan. 

The corporation has also decided to develop a park in every division and modernisation of graveyards, existing parks and opening up new walking and cycling tracks is in the pipeline. In every phase, they have acquired 30 parks. 

Meanwhile, work on some parks is already under progress and the tender process has also been taken up for around 15 parks. 

Apart from that, SHE toilets for the convenience of the women and modern toilets too have been constructed. After some maintenance work, they shall be opened for public usage, he gave away this information.
