‘When in Rome, do as the Romans do’ might be an age-old adage, but in Telangana, the same seems to have been adopted by Taiwanese contract manufacturing major Foxconn.   

They are showcasing the ‘Telangana Speed’ with the pace of work on its electronics manufacturing facility at Kongara Kalan here. 

The work that has been completed so far indicates the speed that has become the State government’s USP, and one which Foxconn Chairman Young Liu himself praised during his visit to Hyderabad in March this year to announce the facility. 

The State government signed a pact with Foxconn on March 2 for setting up the manufacturing facility. In less than three weeks, the groundbreaking ceremony of Foxconn Interconnect Technology’s electronics manufacturing facility was held at Kongara Kalan. 

According to the latest reports, the company is executing the manufacturing facility construction works briskly.
