Gated Communities Put In Place Strict Measures To Counter Covid-19

With Covid-19 raging across several parts of the state, residential societies are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the standard operating procedures laid down by the government and local urban bodies are being followed. This comes after a gated community in Madinaguda reported as many as 112 cases. Residential societies are undertaking the following measures:

  1. Restricted entry of vendors and delivery personnel

  1. Preventing outdoor activities and gathering so as to stop the spread of the virus

  1. Residents getting sick will be isolated.

  1. Their errands will be taken care of the housekeeping staff.

Konala Verma, general secretary, Lanco Hills, Manikonda, said, “We have not changed the Covid-19 safety protocols that were put in place during the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic last year. Now with the second wave, we are simply restricting outdoor activities and have shut down the children’s play area.”
