The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has set up a Covid-19 control room at its headquarters and has appointed 20 doctors, who will give medical advice and will also distribute medical kits.
The doctors will work in two shifts: From 8am – 2pm and from 2pm- 8pm. During these hours, the doctors will provide medical advice to those recuperating from Covid-19 at home.
SAM Rizvi, medical and health secretary, said, “If anyone had Covid-like symptoms, he or she should call the helpline number.” He added that incoming calls to 104 were also being linked to the control room.
