HMDA to conduct e-auctions for 44 open plots near Nagole

Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority is going to conduct e-auctions for 44 open plots in Uppal Bhagat near Nagole on December 2 and 3.

Authorities determined the Uppal Bhagat layout to be a safe spot as the land is not tied with legal drawbacks and expects to give a big turnout from the bidders.

A senior official of the HMDA told TOI that the layout is beneficial due to its central location 10 kilometers away from both Hyderabad and Secundrabad. He also stated that the affordable prices in comparison with western Hyderabad are a plus point.

Official sources claimed approximately 1,35,000 square yards of land worth Rs 1,000 crores to be auctioned, including plots ranging from 150 to 200 square yards, 2,500 to 5,000 square yards, and exceeding 10,000 square yards.

The authority had sold land priorly through e-auctions a couple of months ago. But these auctions are being interrupted by some people who have reached the court claiming that the land belongs under the bio-conservation zone. The case is pending in court currently.
