Sleep and home solutions startup, Wakefit.co, has set up a new factory in Medchal, Hyderabad, to meet the increasing demand in and around the city. The company has invested Rs 5 crore in the facility and aims to spend more to satisfy its growth needs.

The company said that Hyderabad is one of Wakefit.co's top five focal cities. Hyderabad has seen a substantial increase in demand for premium sleep and home solution goods over the last few months.

The move would allow the company to reach its target revenue of Rs 450 crore by the end of 2021. Spread over 30 lakh sq ft, the facility will have items clinically developed by experts. The business has recently extended from sleep to home solution divisions.

The product line of the company's sleep solutions range includes mattresses, beds, mattress protectors, pillows, comforters, bed sheets, neck pillows, and back cushions. On the other hand, the collection of home solutions consists of study desks, bookshelves, bedside tables, coffee tables, TV sets, sofas, shoe racks, wardrobes, dining tables, and many more.

Co-founder and CEO of Wakefit.co stated that the order volume increased 15% in Hyderabad since their setup. Also, the delivery time in and around Hyderabad has significantly reduced.

The company aims to improve further its production capability, in-house R & D, and direct-to-consumer programmes worldwide. In addition to Hyderabad, the company is setting up new factories in Pune, Delhi, and Bengaluru. The organization said it controls the end-to-end supply chain and back-end processes, which hold costs competitive for consumers.
