Large Townships to Come Up at Kokapet

The work is to be finished in 18 months. It is expected that when it is developed, it will provide about a million people with jobs in the next 5-7 years, as per Telangana's annual report for 2020-21. Municipal Administration and Minister for Urban Development, KT Rama Rao, released the report on 9th July.

At Neopolis Kokapet there will be high towers. The construction of the Trumpet Interchange at Kokapet Layout and further entry & exit into the ORR at Narsingi is proposed with seamless connection to the Outer Ring Road (ORR).

On 15-16 July the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will be auctioning properties in Kokapet. In total there will be an auction on behalf of the State Government on 13 land parcels spread over 64.93 hectares. The Rs 25 crore per acre has been set by the government.

At the pre-bid meeting held at the e-auction in late last month, Arvind Kumar, Chief Secretary, Municipal Administration, and Urban Development, said Neopolis Kokapet would be the role model of the country.

The property can be used to construct office, commercial, leisure, and residential spaces. Also, the Zonal restrictions will not arise.
