Sintex, a subsidiary of the Welspun Group, is poised to establish a manufacturing facility in Telangana with a substantial investment of 350 crore rupees, anticipating the creation of 1,000 job opportunities.
The foundation stone for the upcoming plant, situated in Chandanvelly within Rangareddy district, will be laid on September 28 by Telangana Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao and Welspun Group Chairman B.K. Goenka. The facility's production will encompass tanks, pipes, auto components, and related ancillaries, as outlined in an official statement.
Rama Rao emphasized that the State Government's forward-thinking policies and world-class infrastructure have been instrumental in attracting the company to establish its units within the state. He also assured comprehensive support to existing companies planning to expand their operations in Telangana.
B.K. Goenka, Chairman of the Welspun Group, acknowledged the company's successful operations in the state and expressed that Telangana's investment-friendly policies were a key factor motivating their expansion within the region.
