Kothaguda flyover was constructed for the convenience of passengers

The new Kothaguda flyover, at last, was set up, connecting the Gachibowli junction with the Kondapur and Kothaguda junctions, providing much-need relief to all the passengers.

The flyover has two entry points, one starting at the SLN terminus and the other at Botanical Gardens.

These are five-lane flyovers till the Kothaguda junction.

At the Kothaguda junction, the flyover divides into two three-lane flyovers that would head towards Hi-Tech city and the Kondapur RTO office.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has set aside Rs. 263.09 crores for the construction of this flyover.

The construction of the Kothaguda flyover was a strategy of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP).

The Shilpa Layout flyover was also inaugurated by KT Rama Rao, being 823 metres long and 6.6 metres wide.

The inauguration of this flyover has enhanced the connectivity between Hi-Tech City, Financial District and The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).
