Minister KTR Opens 'Hyderabad Delivery Centre' Ph-1 of Warner Bros. Discovery
On Wednesday, IT and Industries Minister K.T. Rama Rao opened CapitaLand Investment's International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH), a 1.4 million-square-foot complex with leasing commitments from many worldwide firms.
The redeveloped tech park in Madhapur, Hyderabad's IT corridor, launched Block A with the ground-breaking ceremony for a 40 MW data centre.
The park will house Bristol Myers Squibb, Ernst & Young, Tata Consultancy Services, VXI Global, Warner Bros. Discovery, Cloud4C Services, and ANSR Global Corporation.
According to CapitaLand Investment Ltd. (CLI), the 0.3 million-square-foot data centre will service multinational hyper scalers and huge corporations with its advanced technology.
The park will be redeveloped in phases over the next 7-10 years by CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT). Over 50,000 IT/ITES professionals will work in 4.9 million sq ft of Grade A+ office space at ITPH.
In December 2022, CLINT (previously Ascendas India Trust) announced a ?6,200 crore investment in Hyderabad that will create a 36 MW data centre and double its office space over 5-7 years.
In another event, the Minister opened Warner Bros. Discovery's Hyderabad Capability Centre. According to him, Warner Bros. Discovery, a media giant, chose Hyderabad for its development centre.?
