The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of the Secunderabad railway station in Telangana.
The plan for the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station, at the cost of Rs 720 crore, will be unveiled by the PM.
The redeveloped station will have a double-level spacious roof plaza with all passenger facilities in one place, along with multimodal connectivity for providing smooth travel from rail to other modes.
He will flag off Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express at Secunderabad Railway Station.
This express train will connect the IT City, Hyderabad, with the Abode of Lord Venkateswara, Tirupati, in just three-and-a-half hours.
It is the second Vande Bharat train to be started from Telangana within just three months.
The PM will inaugurate the doubling and electrification of the Secunderabad-Mahabubnagar project.
He will also lay the foundation stone for AIIMS Bibinagar at the public programme at Parade Ground in Hyderabad.
