Govt to Construct Two Flyovers in Hyd to Ease Traffic Congestion

The Telangana State government has allegedly proposed building two new flyovers at Lingampally and RTC Colony Miyapur to alleviate the traffic difficulties along the heavily travelled IT corridor and the surrounding districts. According to reports, all necessary permits from the federal and state governments have been secured, and construction is set to begin very soon.?

As part of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP), the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is building flyovers. The flyover construction in Hyderabad will likely begin after the monsoons end. The flyovers aim to improve traffic flow on the Lingampally and miyapur roads.

On August 15, the long-awaited steel flyover at the RTC crossroad will be open to the public. The cost of building this flyover from Indira Park to VST was 350 crores. The flyover will span a length of 2.25 kilometres.

The Telangana Government is proud to introduce these new additions, improving the city's transportation infrastructure. Commuters can look forward to smoother and more efficient travel routes. In addition, the Telangana government has some exciting plans to expand the underpass at Chandanagar.

The new flyovers would greatly enhance Hyderabad's transportation infrastructure, which has benefited commuters and the city's commercial centres due to prior infrastructure developments.
