The Telangana State Wakf Board has decided to soon undertake development activities at the Shahi Masjid Bagh-e-Aam.
Shahi Masjid Renovated Soon
In the Public Gardens, Nampally, Hyderabad's Shahi Masjid Bagh-e-Aaam to be renovated by the Telangana State Wakf Board soon.
At a meeting with the board members on Tuesday, Telangana State Wakf Board chairman Mohd Saleem stated that all amenities at the masjid with the board funds would be upgraded. The board will be responsible for plumbing works, internal electrical wiring and other renovation works in the mosque.
In order to produce revenue for the board, the Wakf Board would also lease three of its properties for converting into commercial properties. The board also made confirmation of the appointment on the various mosques and dargas in the state to its committees. Permission was also given for six properties to be built.
Wakf Chairman Saleem stated that all steps were being taken to integrate the Wakf Board records into the database of the registration department to avoid the illegal registration of Wakf properties by unsocial elements or land grabbers or encroachers.
