A new Police Station for Women inaugurated in Begumpet

A new Hyderabad police commissioner, CV Anand, recently inaugurated a new facility for the Women's Police Station. This new establishment is located at Begumpet. 

The new building is furnished with barracks for personnel, trendy workstations, counseling rooms, and record rooms to carry on with the actions. 

The commissioner stated at the inauguration that “The building has a visitor-friendly design, comfortable waiting area, and easy accessibility to differently-abled persons, among other features. Modern infra development helps in rendering services effectively.” 

The commissioner continued by adding that they aim at having a women’s police station and a cyber crime police station in every zone of the city of Hyderabad to ensure protection and smooth operations at all times. 

A new block of SHE teams scattered across 2000 square feet. The facility has modern workstations, reception counters, and victim facilitation rooms.  

All of these were inaugurated by the Commissioner, VC Anand, at the HACA Bhavan in Nampally.
