Amazon Data Centers in Telangana Picks Up Real Estate Sector

The major E-commerce Amazon tech giant is considering setting up two data centres near Hyderabad with a total investment of 11,630 crores.

Proposed Amazon's Grand Campus in Telangana

The state government has decided to fast-track the Amazon Data Center project, which is expected to come up in two locations on the outskirts of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy district. While one data centre is proposed at Meerkhanpet village in Kandukur mandal and another at Chandanvelly village in Shabad mandal, which is already part of the land parcel under Hyderabad Pharma City project of the State government.

This massive project is a positive sign for the Telangana government that has been eyeing a major chunk of investments from Amazon India. In addition to this new Amazon centre in Hyderabad is going to be the world’s largest Amazon campus outside the US. The setting up of the data centre is seen as a sign of the efforts of CM KCR and IT Minister KT Rama Rao.

The upcoming Amazon data centres on the outskirts of Hyderabad in Ranga Reddy district would pave way for the creation of massive job opportunities and hence find buyers. As many people prefer to buy a house on the outskirts of the city due to lesser vehicular traffic, more open space, lower population density, and affordable prices. Adding to this the tech giant proximity to Pharma City, Srisailam Highway, Shamshabad, etc. with developed infrastructure facilities attract buyers to own a property for a comfortable stay.

Keeping this in view many reputed real estate builders are launching plenty of projects in Hyderabad outskirts areas such as Mucherla, Kesera, Ghatkesar, Shamirpet, and Shamshabad with a variety of options for prospective buyers such as apartments, villas, and open plots with excellent amenities. These areas have a lot of scope for further development in the future. Buying a property near Hyderabad developing areas would be a wise choice to lead a comfortable life and to get excellent returns.

However, with the advent of Amazon office in Telangana, the Hyderabad residential real estate is expected to see a major boost.
