HRDCL Developed Four Link & Slip Roads to Decongest Traffic Flow in City

To ease traffic congestion on city roads and ensure smooth movement of vehicles, Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited (HRDCL) laid four slip roads that act as links connecting main roads in the city. 

HRDCL Majestic Plan for Model Road Corridors in City 

When the city roads were free of vehicular movement during COVID 19 lockdown, the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Limited (HRDCL) got busy developing four-link and slips roads that promise to facilitate a smooth flow of traffic in different areas of the city. The cumulative length of the roads is 4.67 km and has been laid at the cost of Rs 33.80 crores. HRDCL have effectively utilized this period and completed the infrastructure development works in 60 days. Mr. KT Rama Rao (Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister) will be opening these roads for traffic today. 

List of Four Link and Slip Roads

  • Serilingampally zonal office to NH 65 via Manjeera Pipe Line Road covering 2.70 kms
  • From HT line to Miyapur road covering 1 km in Kukatpally zone
  • Road No.70 Jubilee Hills (Prashasan Nagar) to Narne Road No.78 covering 0.47 kms in the Khairthabad zone. 
  • Neknampur road to Osman Sagar road via Alkapur Township, covering 0.46 km in Manikonda Municipality.

Adding to this, HRDCL is taking up 35 other similar works in four packages at various places in the city. As per the plans, efforts are on to complete these works by July end. 

Thus the HRDCL four major stretches of roads would make commuting more accessible, safer, & faster and leads to effective real estate growth in the city.
