Balanagar Flyover Opens for Public

Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao stated that he is happy to launch today's much-anticipated flyover of Balanagar. This 1.1 km flyover was developed under SRDP, will reduce the congestion of traffic at one of the most hectic junctions in Hyderabad.

The population of Balanagar has waited long for the launch of this long bridge because there are enormous routine jams, with the rapid increase in vehicle traffic during rush hours.

For years, the traffic challenges affecting the traffic through the region will be solved by the flyover. The traffic on the main road in Balanagar will be smooth and motorists can cross over to Narsapur and Fathenagar 'T' junction. In the strategic road development plan, this project was developed. The total project cost is Rs 387, including Rs 122 for civil works, and Rs 265 for land.

The Balanagar flyover was started in 2017 and was supposed to end last year, but work was delayed due to land acquisition delays. The 24-meter flyover is equipped with central railways and crash rails on the roadside.
