Two major road projects aiming to decongest traffic and lessen travel time for commuters in the Kokapet- Gachibowli area are progressing rapidly. They cost approximately Rs 65 crores and will finalize in the next few months. 

HMDA Officials said that these two projects include a trumpet-shaped interchange at Neopolis and another interchange at Narsingi.  

A HMDA official said, “We are planning to complete the construction of the Narsingi interchange by February 2023 and the Neopolis interchange in Kokapet by April 2023. In addition to addressing the future traffic needs of people residing in the region, the two projects will decongest traffic in Kokapet and other areas in the vicinity." 

The interchange at the Neopolis layout will connect the traffic flowing from Neopolis, Movie Towers, and areas in Kokapet and moving towards Gachibowli. 

Once this facility is open, people traveling from Neopolis towards Gachibowli won't need the ORR. The Neopolis interchange is also anticipated to lessen travel time.
