Three model corridors to be developed by the GHMC in Serilingampally

To improve mobility and smooth travel for the commuters, the GHMC will undertake works for developing three model corridors in Serilingampally circle costing around Rs.13 crores.

The corridors to be formulated are Nanakramguda Junction to IT Heights Road to Gachibowli, Biodiversity to Leather Institute, and IT Heights Road to Khajaguda Junction.

Work on these three model corridors will commence soon, and the deadline for completion is four months with a DLP of two years.

The corridors are undertaken by following the State government. The GHMC Standing Committee had last month attained sanctions for these roads.

GHMC officials notified TNIE that the work would be undertaken on CRMP roads assigned to a private agency under the Comprehensive Road Maintenance Contract for a period of five years.

In the event of denial by the CRMC agency, the work shall be done by GHMC through the L1 bidder at their mentioned rates, strictly following the required methods and rules.
