16.9% increase in search for residential properties in April-June

Total residential property searches have risen by 16.9% quarter-on-quarter and 27.7% year-on-year. Property listings extended by 2.9% quarter-on-quarter and 16.2% year-on-year in Q2 2022. 

The highest growths in Q2 2022 were seen in Delhi (47.2%), Ahmedabad (21.4%), Kolkata (21.2%), Noida (20.6%), and Bengaluru (18.8%), witnessed the highest quarter-on-quarter growth in residential searches while Delhi (10.8%), Bengaluru (6.7%), Gurugram (6.6%), Chennai (5.1%) and Kolkata (5.1%). 

Prices of ready-to-move properties inflated 2.3% quarter-on-quarter and 6.4% year-on-year.  

The highest quarter-on-quarter rise was encountered by Greater Noida, Thane, Delhi, and Ahmedabad at 4%, 3.7%, 2.8%, and 2.6%, respectively. 

The costs of under-construction properties expanded 2.7% quarter-on-quarter and 13.3% year-on-year nationally in Q2 2022.  

Rates in Noida, Hyderabad, Gurugram, and Greater Noida heightened 7.3%, 5%, 4.4%, and 3.4% quarter-on-quarter, respectively.
