KTR decides to extend Hyderabad Metro Rail

Hyderabad Metro Rail to extend from LB Nagar to Hayathnagar, says KTR

KT Rama Rao on Tuesday proclaimed that the Hyderabad Metro Rail would extend to Hayathnagar from LB Nagar after the elections.  

He declared the government was undertaking 34 works under the Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP) scheme, and two were completed. 

“These 34 works were undertaken with an outlay of Rs.985 crores, and almost all works would be completed by January 2023,” he said. 

KTR added that the legislator was adopting green cover expansion, stating that  “The state in this angle attained a major achievement and 31.7% green cover." 

He talked about the improvised Per Capita income notion and boosted GSDP in his speech and contended that Hyderabad had grown immensely over the last eight years. 

Labour Minister Malla Reddy, Special Chief Secretary, Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Commissioner, HMDA Aravind Kumar Sudheer Reddy MLA, G Vijaya Laxmi Mayor, GHMC, and MLCs were present on occasion.
