Infra projects worth Rs.15,233 crores launched by PM Modi in Andhra

PM Modi sanctioned Rs.2,917 crores to the U-field Onshore Deepwater Block project of Andhra Pradesh.  

He virtually hurled nine projects worth Rs.5,233 crores from the Andhra University Engineering College grounds. 

He commenced several projects like the 39-km Narasannapeta-Pathapatnam section to connect backward areas of AP and Odisha.  

Another project is the six-lane 100-km access-controlled greenfield Raipur- Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor of NH-130CD.  

He undertook a Port road from Convent Junction-Sheela Nagar Junction to administer the Visakhapatnam Port traffic. 

Another Rs.2,650 crores were sanctioned for the 745-km Srikakulam Angul Natural Gas Pipeline Project of GAIL to provide natural gas to AP and Odisha. 

The PM head-started the long-due Rs.52 crores Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbour modernization project.  

He virtually inaugurated the Grass-Root petroleum depot at Guntakal, costing Rs.385 crores.  

He also inaugurated the Vijayawada-Gudivada-Bhimavaram and Gudivada-Machilipatnam-Bhimavaram-NarasaPuram railway lines doubling and electrification project valuing Rs.4,106 crores.
