Home-Quarantine To-Do List

Coronavirus and its related topics are all about the negative impact it has brought in across the globe. Many industries experienced the repercussions, how the economies dipped, how people are scared, and how the new rules (quarantine, lockdown, sanitizing, etc.) have started ruling the world are always making the headlines.

Today, let’s flip the coin and see the small benefits of lockdown or quarantine time or staying with family and how we can quarantine at home. As humans, most of us are not restricted to one place for longer durations (keeping ill-health aside) as there are high chances of emotional health impact or overall well-being. In this case, as the chances of moving out are bleak and socializing is a big no, we have created a self-quarantine to-do list that helps in fighting the isolation and utilizing your time effectively.

Let’s get started with the quarantine to-do list!

1. Health time: With home converting into a workspace, there might be times where you would have built up stress or discomfort. Now is the time to do some exercise or yoga or anything that helps you flex those muscles, and doing some stretches will be a significant utilizing of time during quarantine at home. These short breaks will ease your stress or anxiety because of work and promote better living.

2. Declutter during quarantine at home: When a person is busy round the clock, it is tough to pull out time for organizing things or planning out any activity; this usually results in piled-up personal works. But, during the pandemic, when work from home does tie you for longer hours with your machine, it also gives you a chance to move around the house and do little organizing during break time. And this is the best way to organize things that you might be procrastinating.

3. Face-Time – tops the self-quarantine to-do list: The best way to stay connected is by spending time with kith and kin; this could be either home or virtually. Social distancing might have put barriers to connect physically with your family and friends, but the virtual world is more extensive. With the pandemic, more options are flowing in to stay connected with your dear ones. As part of your self-quarantine to-do list, make sure to have a video call once or twice a week.

4. Get productive/pick up a skill: Easier said than done, but if time management is your strength, put it to the best use. Enroll for a course or certification that would help leverage your skills and add a star to your resume. Or, you can as well pick up a new skill like crafting, calligraphy, cooking, baking. The list is significant as there a multitude of choices to pick from.

5. Do a movie marathon: If the busy schedules keep you away from home and television, then this quarantine at home is your time to catch up on all that. Pick a day and do a movie marathon!

All we can do during this challenging time is to stay positive, stay healthy, and follow the hygiene to the T. Preparing a quarantine to-do list keeps you both motivated and emotionally fit to see the positive side of this isolation time.
