Construction of 37 Link Roads in Hyderabad

Mayor B Rammohan said that in the first phase of the project the Civil Body planned to develop 37 missing link roads with an approximate cost of Rs 313 crore to provide better infrastructure. Of the 37 slip roads, 10 works had been completed and an additional 18 roads works were under process.

While inspecting different works in Seriligampally Zone he said that to facilitate traffic congestion on main roads, missing link roads were to be developed, especially connecting the IT hubs and business corridors. Adding to this flyovers and underpasses were constructed under SRDP.

It was also planned to develop link road from Nallgandla main road at Ratnadeep to Mumbai old highway connecting with 100 ft width for a distance of 2 km. The travel distance is reduced to 2.5 km with this link road.

The missing link road of 2.10 km length from Serilingampally zonal office to Chandanagar railway track will be developed.  The HRDCL will construct the link road with a cost of Rs 11 crores and out of the 2.10 km road length, 1.75 km length was completed.  Also, 1 km of road length is to be provided from the Chandanagar Railtrack to My Home.

The infrastructure developments of the Government would ensure decongestion on the major roads with a smooth passage on link roads.
