To reduce traffic, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials are planning to build a connection road to the Durgam Cheruvu cable-stayed bridge.
On Tuesday, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose surveyed the site where the link road between the Durgam Cheruvu entrance and the TSAT building and the cable bridge road would be constructed. He requested that the relevant authorities move quickly to acquire land and relocate utilities so that work could begin.
According to the GHMC statement, NCC will construct the road as part of a corporate social responsibility project, and it will help reduce traffic congestion on the section of the road between Madhapur and Jubilee Hills Road No. 36. Additionally, the link road may provide an alternative route to the cable-stayed bridge.
An alternative route to the bridge is planned to be built from Durgam Cheruvu's main gate to the cable bridge leading to TSAT. You can drive through here to go to Madhapur and Jubilee Hills Road No. 36 without having to deal with a lot of other cars.
The Commissioner issued a directive for the utilities to be relocated as soon as possible and for the land acquisition to be finalized.
