Hyderabad Airport adjudged ‘Best Regional Airport’ in India & Central Asia

Hyderabad is on the way to become a leader in e-governance with its rapid growth and a supportive government. With such developing infrastructure, it has managed to upkeep its title to ‘Best Regional Airport in India and Central Asia’ for the third consecutive year in the 2021 Skytrax World Airport Awards. 

The Skytrax World Airport Awards are esteemed awards for the airport industry, chosen by customers at large, with a global annual customer satisfaction survey. Regarded as a quality benchmark for the world airport industry, for Hyderabad, it’s a significant achievement.  The survey has questionaries completed by 100 Nationalities of Airport consumers, evaluating airport service and key performance such as check-ins, arrivals, transfer, etc. 

Hyderabad previously has been ranked the third cleanest and fourth for acquiring the best Airport Staff in India and Central Asia and sixth in Best regional Airport. Ceo of GHAIL [Hyderbad airport] quoted, “We believe our innovative and tech-enabled initiatives have led us to such significant achievement”. Furthermore, the achievement raises the bar, motivates us to reinforce our commitment to provide a seamless experience to all our passengers. 

Hyderabad Airport for its functioning during and amidst the pandemic for their crisis preparedness was recognized and improved their overall rank from 50 to 45 In World’s top 50 Airport League. With connectivity and infrastructure, Hyderabad Airport progressed from 71st position to 64th in 2021 Worlds Top 100 Airport League which is honourable. While according to GMR, the achievement makes Delhi the first Indian airport to be entitled as best COVID-19 Airport excellence for providing exemplary safety protocols, making it the only airport in India to be entitled in this category.
