The government is heading for complete redevelopment in Yadadri's Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple town. The government is hoping that this would result in a real estate boom in and around the temple town.

On Tuesday, the I-T department, however, found numerous unaccounted for cash transactions in purchases of 1,000 acres in the district of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri, which is only 62 kilometres from Hyderabad.

Experts from the Hyderabad income tax investigation unit checked and found incriminating documents related to cash-related transactions of JSR Group of SunCity and the Spectra group. In Hyderabad and Yadadri, the search was carried out in 18 locations. They have also investigated some politicians involved in these real estate transactions.

In May 2021, the temple will be opened to people. The area is slated to become a hot spot for real estate firms and buyers.

The I-T investigators are currently examining 1,000-acre transactions involving the two real estate companies and also other companies connected with them in Yadadri.
