Butterfly-attracting plants that produce flowers, chairs moulded in the shape of butterflies, and a selfie station with a butterfly wing as the background are just a few of the unique characteristics that distinguish the butterfly park different from similar attractions.
At Kukatpally Housing Board Colony (KPHB) Phase V, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is creating a "Butterfly Park" at an estimated cost of Rs. 10.81 lahk. The park is located on a 560-square-meter block of land. Due to the limited space, we have created walkways and not set up a kids' play area. The majority of the park's construction has been finished and will be opened in a month, according to a GHMC official.
He said that the GHMC is waiting for the plants to continue growing before attempting to turn "Butterfly Park" into a home for butterflies. "We wish to enhance the aesthetic appeal of this location for tourists. Some of the plant species that are growing include lavender, ixora, jasmine, vinca rosea, and tecome capensis, according to the GHMC official.
