Telangana minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development,  

K. T. Rama Rao is going to inaugurate the Shilpa Layout flyover, at Shilpa Layout in Gachibowli.  

KTR, on Twitter posted "Will be opening  another Infrastructure project improving connectivity to ORR & unclogging the Gachibowli junction". 

He mentioned in the tweet that it is the 17th project accomplished under the Strategic Road Development Program (SRDP) by GHMC in these 6 years. 

This flyover not only aims at easing traffic but also to improve the connectivity between Hi-Tech City, Financial district and the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).  

The flyover is 823 metres long and 16.6 metres wide, with a 4-lane two-way road diversion.  

The project's primary focus is to help the passengers travelling from the Shilpa Layout to the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near the Gachibowli Junction. 

This has foreshortened the time utilised to travel.
