Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, initiated the Dharani portal on 29 October 2020. A new Integrated Land Records Management System known as 'Dharani' that combines land administration and registration services is intended to be established and managed by the government.

As per the new revenue act called the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act (TRLPP), 2020, the portal was launched. The legislation is expected to implement land revenue administration reforms by digitising the portal's land information and maps.

According to Aruna Kumari, Senior Partner of Kochhar & Co, Hyderabad, Dharani is an online web portal of the State Government and is a one-stop portal for all matters relating to land records, details, ownership, mutation, and many others.

Services such as registration, mutation, etc., are currently operational entirely through the agricultural property portal. The Telangana High Court had previously stayed the order via Dharani on the registration of non-agricultural properties and stalled the procedure due to consumer privacy issues. Registration of non-agricultural properties resumed as per the old standards from the second week of December. Slot booking via Dharani for non-agricultural properties is, however, mandatory.

How to Check Agricultural Land Information Online?

Browse the Dharani website at https://dharani.telangana.gov.in in your web server.

• Click on the green tab that shows 'Agriculture'.
• You will be redirected to the Agriculture section's homepage.
• Click on 'search land details.'
• There are two ways to get data.
• Include your Aadhaar number with the Pattadar passbook number and the first four digits
• Pick your property/land No. from the district, mandal, village and survey or subdivision No.
• Define Captcha
• Press Fetch
