Logistics Park at Batasingaram Developed By HMDA

The Batasingaram Logistics Park of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority opened by MA & UD Minister KT Rama Rao on Thursday, 28th Jan.

In an area of about 40 acres and with a cost of almost Rs.40 crore the Logistics Park is already functioning at Mangalpally, and the Batasingaram New facilities will be the second in the city.

At the inauguration of the logistics park, the Minister announced that the Government of Telangana is now successfully launching an ideal logistics township at Exit 11, ORR, NH 65, Batasingaram.

The Park is proposed to facilitate 24-hour security monitoring operations. Also the truck parking, docking facilities with the organised grade A storage to set in a perfect ecosystem with value-added services of mini godowns, food, accommodation, healthcare etc.

Focusing on key demand and activity in the logistic industry in and around Hyderabad, the HMDA government has initiated the development of logistical facilities across Hyderabad in an attempt to facilitate the organised movement of goods, reduce the entry of multi-axle vehicles in Hyderabad.

In Phase I HMDA took on the construction of the Batasingaram and Mangalpally logistics parks using PPP mode to develop infrastructures to meet the growing demand for freight logistics facilities.

As an integrated one-stop facility for freight workers, third party logistic providers, cargo handling firms, truck-drivers, warehouse operators, parking services etc., HMDA has proposed setting up of such logistics parks.
