GHMC to Construct Multi-generation Park at Mayuri Nagar, Hyderabad

The GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) is getting ready for the construction of the first exclusive multi-generation park at Mayuri Nagar in 3.5 acres of land area.

Multi-generation Park at Mayuri Nagar

Hyderabad’s first multi-generation park at Mayuri Nagar, Chandanagar allows visitors to test memory capacity. A memory garden for all age groups is included in the park at one section where visitors can check and develop their memory.

Various aromatic plants are specified and labels are placed for each flower pot and visitors have to smell the fragrance and list names accordingly. Similarly, various types and objects will be included in the section and after blindfolding, visitors have to recognize them and list them on a paper.

Memory Park Facilities

Specific places are allocated to various age group children and elder people at memory park. Some areas have been consistently designed for all ages. It also includes

  • Yoga area
  • Three play areas 
  • Separate track for disabled
  • Laughing mirror area
  • Picnic area, library
  • Amphitheatre
  • Silly maze
  • Lawn bowling
  • Outdoor fitness with seating areas 

GHMC Infrastructure Development Programs

The Multi-Generation Theme Park and the construction works of the Gurnadham Cheruvu were inspected on Tuesday by Mayor Bonthu Rammohan. GHMC aims to develop 320 parks and 50 Theme Parks together with beautification of 120 junctions under junctions enhancement program. In Serilingampally Zone nine theme parks are coming up. 

The GHMC is progressively implementing measures to protect and conserve 185 lakes across the city. The officials were instructed to remove hyacinth and develop a walking track in Gurnadham Cheruvu.

The upcoming new park offers the residents of the area to maintain physical fitness and lead a healthy lifestyle.
